Contracts
According to legal provisions, water and sewerage services can only be supplied on basis of a service supply contract. We also recommend you to read the pre-contractual conditions according to the provisions of G.E.O. no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in all contracts concluded with Compania AQUASERV S.A. Tirgu Mures regional operator.

Contract concluding
Natural or legal persons in the company’s operating area, owners or with a power of attorney from the owner of the household, with a consumption point (with a separate meter at the connection point) and / or connected to the sewerage system, may benefit of services of water supply and sewerage provided by Compania AQUASERV S.A. on contract basis.
Water and sewerage service contracts can be concluded by:
•Companies
•Public institutions
•Household users – individual or as house tenants' and flat owners' associations
A contract must be concluded for users who:
•Execute a new connection point
•Separate a line on an existing connection point
•Take over a consumption point from another user with a contract
You may request the conclusion of a contract at the Client Relations Center, personally or by correspondence, by filling a request form and filling the additional documents mentioned in the form.
In case you wish to take over a consumption point from another user, the contract request must be accompanied by a contract termination request signed by the old contract party (formulare).
The contract must be signed in person, by the contract party or his legal representative, at the Client Relations Center, on basis of an identification document.
A contract is concluded within 15 calendar days from the date the complete documentation has been submitted.
Contract amendment
You may apply for an amendment of the contract at any time, in case your identification data or identification data of your property, written in the contract (residence address / head office, bank account, name of legal representative) change. You are required to inform Compania AQUASERV, within 15 working days, regarding any such change, by filling a written request, accompanied by supporting documents.
The contract is amended by drafting an addendum to the water and sewerage contract. You can request for the amendment of your contract at the Client Relations Center personally, or by mail.
The addendum must be signed personally, at the Client Relations Center. Contract amending term is 30 calendar days from the date supporting documents have been submitted.
Contract termination
You may request termination of your water and sewerage supply contract at any time. Contract termination is conditioned by your payment of any debt you may have towards Compania AQUASERV:
•Outstanding balance
•Delay penalties
•Discharge penalties (companies)
•Any compensations owed.
You may request contract termination at the Client Relations Center, personally or through correspondece, by filling a request form (request for termination).
Compania AQUASERV may request termination of the contract in the following situations:
a) After 30 calendar days from contract suspension for one of the following reasons:
•If you failed to pay your invoice, including any price increase, within 60 calendar days from invoice issuance date
•You failed to remedy your interior damages
•You failed to observe discharge waters quality conditions according to NTPA 002 and NTPA 001, for 3 consecutive months
•You failed to pay delay penalties, discharge penalties or any other compensations you may owe the company
•Any other breach of contract conditions
b) In case you refuse to conclude a new contract, or to sign or update your existing contract, when regulations or technical-economical conditions on which the contract was initially based on have changed.
